Q. Do you have to do all of our function?
A. No. we can do as much or as little as you want, from just finding an appropriate cake to full planning, managing invites, the day itself and even clearing up afterwards.
Q. Can any venue be used for a wedding?
A. More and more venues are now registered for weddings and civil partnerships we can advise on this. The legal and moral side on marriage is not entered into lightly you and your partner will need to meet with the registrar or your religious leader. Humanist blessing can take place almost anywhere (although the legal bit will need to be done at the registry office)
Q. What if I have to cancel the event?
A. We understand that from time to time some events are cancelled for a number of reasons, once a deposit is paid it often goes to our suppliers to secure services on a particular day so sadly the deposit is non-refundable. Wedding insurance can also be taken out to cover costs should the wedding be cancelled. (sadly most insurances will not cover you for ’cold feet’). We will advise you of all these options during your consultation,
Q. It all sounds very expensive - do you cater for all budgets?
A. Having a stylish function may not necessarily mean having to take out a second mortgage, we can assist with finding ways to have a fantastic day without breaking the bank.
Q. Some of my guest have specific dietary needs?
A. Wherever possible we use caterers that we know and trust, however some venues are insistent that there own in-house caterers are used, in either case we will ensure that you meet with the caterers to discuss your requirements and enjoy some complementary samples of the food that will be served to your guests.
Q. Can I book any date?
A. Yes, once a date is booked with us, that’s it, it will be yours, however as a family business we are sorry but we can not take bookings for Christmas day (the only day we get off!) |
